The RLM-Fin-PL is a full simulation of the well known HP-12C Platinum financial and business calculator for iPhone and iPad. Includes all the functions of the real one in a beautiful high definition interface. Also includes the “Classic” model with “RPN” only entry logic.

Enjoy a dynamic Portrait and Landscape orientation layouts that can be lock in the calculator’s preference ([g] > [PREF] key sequence).

The Fin-PL version includes additional Finance tools to expand the original calculator functionality with:

- Amortization Table: Print, email or view a complete amortization schedule of a loan according the content of i, n, PV, PMT and FV values.
- Depreciation Table: Print, email or view a Deprecation Schedule for SL, SOYD or DB at once.
- Bonds Price & Yield: Expand the original calculator for bonds with Annual or Semiannual coupons with Actual or 30/360 calendars.
- Black-Scholes OVM: Calculates the Call or Put options prices of an European Option using the Black-Scholes option valuation model.
- Cash Flows Calculations: Expand the original calculator to calculate much more Cash Flows indicators, including MIRR%
- Cash Flows Editor: Allows to easily enter or edit cash flows and save them in a file.

Use the “In-App-Purchase” to unlock all the other calculator’s menus and have a full featured “state of the art” calculator right at your fingertips.

Fantastic!!! Im very satisfied with the update!!! Keep this app being the best 12c.

Ive been using an actual hp12c for a while with this app on my phone as a backup. Its pretty good, with the recent update arguably makes it better than the actual.

Some bad moments

DO NOT BUY THIS APP. I purchased this calculator hoping that it would work when the developers other effort--"12C Classic"--did not. 12C Classic *used* to be decent before the version posted on Dec. 21, 2010, at which point R.L.M. posted an update that basically broke the app for everyone. The developer has been notified multiple times by multiple parties (including me), with no response whatsoever. I purchased 12C-FIN hoping that it would *not* be broken and would solve the issues everyone is having with 12C Classic, but it exhibits exactly the same problems! DO NOT SUPPORT DEVELOPERS THAT IGNORE THEIR CUSTOMERS. R.L.M., you should be ashamed of yourself. You are basically cheating your customers. Apple, you should remove deadbeat developers like this and ban their apps from the App Store forever. It reflects poorly on the user experience. To sum it up: This app and its developer are a great big #FAIL.

I downloaded this after using the lite version forever, however the retina display is nice, it doesnt work in landscape properly. Only a 1/4 of the calculator appears making it useless. This is very odd since the calculator is supposed to be in landscape. Please fix this bug.

Faithful simulation of the HP-12C with a bunch of useful extra features. This is one of the first apps I bought for my iPhone 4 and it has worked flawlessly from day one. I use it all the time. Five stars from top to bottom. If you like RPN and especially if you like the 12C, get this. You wont be sorry. PS: Mac version is excellent too.

Testing here, and the results are OK. I just want to know which are the difference betwen "Fin-Calc", "Bus-Calc" and "Platinum-Pro" app. And the icon app is good, not the same pictured here in iTunes.

We own two HP 12Cs which were made in the USA. They work great and are solidly built. I just bought a new 12C and cant believe how poor the build quality has become. The keys are mushy and some are even unresponsive. I went looking for a 12C app and downloaded this app to run on my iPhone. I love it. The graphics really recreate the 12C and has the added benefit of working in portrait layout which I prefer. Unlike my new real 12C, the keys on this app work every time and even have a nice click to them. Nothing will replace the feel of a real quality 12C in your hand, but the reality is this app is much more practical for use on the fly rather than carrying around a physical calculator. For the price alone theres no reason not to have this app on your phone.

This is one of my favorite apps. Amazing full featured HP 12C simulation at a great price! Love having the 12C on my phone, rarely use the real thing anymore, this is better and certainly faster than the sluggish processor of the real thing. Crisp clear display, great options and I really like the highlighting feature of the f and g function keys and the portrait orientation. Highly recommended. A must have for any 12C user.
